Complete the notes a teacher has prepared for a student who has just done a presentation.
background knowledge be concise cluttered feedback jargon
key takeaway pace rehearse slides unprofessional
Presentation 1...
Well done on your first presentation. There were some strong points, but also some areas you need to work on.
Your 2... is excellent - you've clearly prepared well and have done a lot of reading around your topic. I was also impressed by your speaking style - not too slow, not too fast-you've got the right 3... for your audience to follow easily (although it was rather long-don't forget to 4...). However, there were quite a few times when you had to look at your notes - did you 5... enough?
The thing you most need to improve is your script. It was very long. In fact it sounded like a draft version rather than the finished presentation. You should rewrite it and present your information in chunks because it was a little disorganised in places. You also used a lot of 6... which is OK, but you need to explain what some words mean in case your audience doesn't understand.
Your 7... were mostly fine - relevant images, clear headings. Towards the end, they were a little 8... with too much text. This was a problem because your 9... might have been lost - and this should have been the most important idea! Your joke at the end of the presentation was a little 10... It's OK to use humour, but make sure you don't offend your audience!
